The Red Bull Barakos used a 17-1 run to start the ballgame and hot three-point shooting to rout the Purefoods TJ Giants, 123-97 forcing a decisive game 7 on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Red Bull finished with a franchise-best 56.7% beyond the arc, going 17-for30 from that distance.

Francisco Adriano who finished with a career-high 29 points sank 3 3-pointers, Mick Pennisi made 7 three en route to 23 points and added 10 rebounds, Cyrus Baguio went 3-for-3 and finished with 18 points and Mike Hrabak also added 3 threes, underlying the shooting of the Barakos.

"This is what we wanted in the first place… to drag them (Giants) to a deciding seventh game. It's a good win because momentum has now shifted back to us," offered Guiao during the post-game news conference.

We wanted a high-percentage defense. We defended well with the zone in Game 5. It was a game we won then and we gambled on it again this time. And they just really shot well again tonight," offered Purefoods coach Ryan Gregorio.

"All the adjustments have been made. I don't think there will be more on Sunday. This series now boils down to sheer determination and greater desire to make the Finals," said Guiao, winner of five championships in the league – three with Red Bull and two with Swift in the 90s -- but still aspiring for his first all-Filipino trophy.

Peter June Simon led the Giants with 26 points.
